Svetlana graduated from the All-Russian Distance Institute of Finance and Economics (now part of the Financial Academy under the Russian Government) with a degree in Accounting, Analysis, and Auditing in 2008. In addition to her primary education, she earned a diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) in 2011. And now she is an ACCA student (Papers F1 to F9 filed).
Svetlana’s professional experience includes 2 years of work in the accounting department and 2.5 years of work in the management accounting department at one of the largest real estate management companies.
Svetlana has 6 years of work experience in accounting and consulting services according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In addition to IFRS projects, Svetlana has successfully implemented projects in various accounting systems used in other countries, such as U.S. GAAP, HGB, and the Finnish GAAP.
The portfolio of the projects that Svetlana has successfully completed includes various cases of transformation and consolidation, a financial analysis of the current position and performance of companies, forecasting and budgeting for companies, providing advice on IFRS accounting methods, automating the preparation of management accounting reports, and restoring accounting records for non-resident companies for preparing financial statements to be filed with tax authorities.
Among Svetlana’s clients are large Russian agricultural holding companies, companies related to the oil industry, the largest restaurant and vegetation management businesses, and industrial equipment manufacturers and sellers.
In addition to transformation projects, Svetlana takes an active part in auditing commercial and nonprofit organizations according to both RAS and IFRS. During the last few years, Svetlana has amassed extensive experience in auditing and transforming the financial statements of nonprofit organizations.
